DeLaPaz, Johnetta Ann "Joni" Johnetta 'Joni' Ann DeLaPaz, loving wife, mother and sister went to her heavenly home at the age of 64. Joni Ann was born on December 1, 1939, in Lawton, OK, and left this world on March 30, 2004. Joni was a loving wife to Secundo for thirty three years. They traveled the U.S. many years while Secundo worked in the field of oil & gas exploration. In her later years she enjoyed being a member and participating in the OKC Pow Wow Club. All who knew her, know she is a passionate and strong willed person and stood up for what she believed. She is preceded in death by mother, LaVerne Neal, brother, Jim Neal, and most recently, son, Timothy Moore. She is survived by husband, Secundo, daughters, Sue Koskela of Oklahoma City, Donita Wiggins of Bethany, and Loa Girty of Tahlequah; sisters, Loa Dungan of Arlington, TX, and Virginia Harrison of Lawton. Grandchildren, Kristie Payne, Amanda and Nicole Williams; Logan, Garrett, and Walker Girty; and Dakota Moore; aunt, Barbara Longhorn, and numerous nieces and nephews. Service 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2004 at Mercer Adams Chapel followed by interment in Bethany Cemetery.
