Virginia Katherine Donnell

PLAINVIEW - Virginia Katherine Donnell, 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wood-Dunning Funeral Home Colonial 
Chapel with Dr. Max Browning of First United Methodist Church officiating. 
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Donnell was born in Chico and moved to Plainview in 1943 from Fort 
Sill, Okla. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Jr. & 
Sr. Service League organization and the Hobby Club.

In 1992 she received the Citizens Service Award from the Chamber of 
Commerce for longtime service to the community. She was employed by First 
National Bank and Norwest Bank of Plainview.

She married Landon H. Donnell in 1941 at Lovington, N.M. He died in 1997.

Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Terrell of Lubbock; two sisters, 
Jeanette Davis and Jane Sharp, both of Clovis, N.M.; and a brother, B.K. 
Myers of Albuquerque, N.M.

The family suggest memorials be to First United Methodist Church.
