Dunham Age 85, Lawton, Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Sullivan Village Church of Christ with Rodger Schwenn, minister, officiating. Mrs. Dunham died Sunday in Edmond, Oklahoma. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. She was born October 6, 1919 east of Lawton to Walter C. and Etta Norton. She grew up east of Lawton attending Beaver Bend School and was a 1936 graduate of Lawton High School. She later earned a business degree from Cameron College in 1938. She had worked for Farm Bureau Insurance for a couple of years in the mid 1940’s but was primarily a homemaker. She married R.M. “Ducky” Dunham on March 6, 1942 in Enid. She was a member of the Sullivan Village Church of Christ and had been active in an area quilting group. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Suzette Watson, Edmond; two grandsons, Steven Crow, east of Lawton, and James Watson, Edmond; two step grandsons, Larry Watson, Connecticut, and Gordon Watson, Jr., Norman; 2 great grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren.
