Wife, Mother and Grandmother, passed away Saturday, September 27th, 2003. Willie was born in Comanche County near Elgin, OK on August 28th, 1918. She was preceded in death by her parents (Lawrence and Edna King), and three sisters (Lovie Ridley, Etta Groves and Dorothy Alexander). Willie grew up near Rush Springs, OK and graduated from Rush Springs High School in 1937. She attended business school in Duncan, OK and married Truman C. Everett in Rush Springs on December 25, 1945. They have resided in Oklahoma City, OK since January 1946. She was a member of the Crestwood Baptist Church where she taught a Sunday school class for many years. Willie retired from the Kerr-McGee Corporation after 15 years of service. Willie loved to travel and visit different areas of the country. Willie is survived by her husband Truman of the home; sons Harold Everett, Oklahoma City and Steven Everett, Manila, Philippines; grandchildren Brian and Victoria Everett, Vienna, Virginia. Services will be held at the South Colonial Chapel on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. with interment to follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, S.W. 104th and Western. VONDEL L.
