"Jackie" Easterday Funeral for Ada L. "Jackie" Easterday, 86, Lawton, is pending with Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. Mrs. Easterday died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, at a local hospital. ========= Lawton Constitution 14 Dec 2003 Ada L. "Jackie" Easterday Service for Ada Lorena "Jackie" Easterday, 86, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jim Antwine officiating. Mrs. Easterday died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, at a local hospital. Arrangements are under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. She was born April 4, 1917, in Bedford, Ohio, to Charles Howard and Katie Welsh Wilson. She married David Easterday on Aug. 20, 1938, in Hardin County, Kentucky. They traveled with his military service and came to Lawton in 1956. She organized the pre-school at Fort Sill and when it closed she taught second grade at Whittier Elementary for many years. Survivors include her husband, retired Col. David Easterday, of the home; two sons: Charles D. Easterday and his wife Cheryl, Oklahoma City; and James W. Easterday, Indiahoma; four granddaughters: Minga Easterday, Lawton; Melissa and Michelle Easterday, both of Dallas, Texas; and Kristine Easterday, Oklahoma City; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Vinas Lee, Ohio.
