Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. in Lawton funeral home chapel for 
Artie W. Elrod, 64, former deputy Sheriff here, who died Thursday of a 
heart ailment.

Rev. Forrest A Fields, pastor of the Centenary Methodist church officiated 
and burial was in Highland Cemetery.

Pallbearers were T. H. Tarkington, Sheriff Tomlinson, J.C. Wiggs, Charles 
Spurling, Lem Foster, and Curlee Tomlinson.
