Ewing Funeral for Molly G. Ewing, 74, Lawton, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Becker Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Kowalski, pastor, St. Gregory the Great Church, Enid, officiating. Mrs. Ewing died Monday, June 9, 2003, at her home. Burial will be at noon Saturday at Chico Cemetery, Chico, Texas, with the Rev. Gilbert Pansza, pastor, St. John Catholic Church, Bridgeport, Texas, officiating. She was born Sept. 22, 1928, in Duncan to Lana Hanna and Henry Carey Gulledge. She graduated from San Marcos High School in 1946 and attended SMU. She married Amos D. Ewing on July 3, 1948. She traveled the world with her parents and then later as a military wife. She was an American Contract Bridge League life master, Lawton Bridge Club director, bowler and member and past president of the Lawton Country Club Ladies Golf Association. She was also a member of the South Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association and the Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association. Survivors include her husband; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Jefferson and Donna; and Amos; six daughters and two sons-in-law: Johanna, Katie, Martha, Jane and Steve Ensley, Emily and Amy and Steve Holmstrom; seven grandchildren: Hanna Davis, Daniel Ewing, Carey, Mitchell and Marshall Ensley and Scott and Todd Holmstrom; and two nieces: Carmen and Carmella Gulledge.
