Dan Foster, 50, Lawton, will be at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at Ortiz Funeral Home Chapel, San Antonio. Sgt. Foster died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, at his home. Burial with military honors will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio. Local arrangements are by Jefferson Funeral Home. He was born Nov. 12, 1952, in San Antonio to Jack and Lucy Foster, where he attended elementary and middle school. He graduated from Cameron University. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1972 and served four years before joining the U.S. Army and serving 16 years. He was a veteran of Desert Storm and retired from the Army. He was also formerly employed with Lawton Public Schools as a substitute teacher. He was a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Suping Foster, Lawton; a daughter, Christy Foster, Lawton; a brother, Jack R.
