Fulfer SPRINGDALE, Ark. — Funeral for former Lawton resident Paul R. Fulfer, 63, Springdale, Ark., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christian Life Cathedral, Fayetteville, Ark., with the Rev. Steve Dixon and the Rev. Lindell Ballenger officiating. Mr. Fulfer died Friday, July 11, 2003, in Lees Summit, Mo. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery, Springdale, under direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home, Springdale. He was born in Springdale on May 30, 1940, to John Ray and Raby Culbert Fulfer. He married Joy Smothers Fulfer on May 31, 1962. He owned a wholesale business and attended Christian Life Cathedral. He played in the Softball Players Association, the Senior Softball-USA, the Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas Senior Olympics.
