Lawton Constitution

Delana J. (McCaig) Fanning

Age 43, Geronimo, Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Calvary Assembly 
of God with Rev. Byron G. Elmore, Pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Fanning died Friday in a local hospital.

Burial will be in the Letitia Cemetery, east of Lawton, under the 
direction of the Becker Funeral Home.

She was born on March 13, 1961 in Lawton to Bobby and Ellen (Lowrey) 
McCaig.  She married Richard “Rick” Fanning in Lawton on April 17, 1981.  
She was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Assembly of God, where she 
was active as the Children’s Church Leader and Rainbow Leader.

Survivors include her husband of the home; 3 children, Alisa, Andrew and 
Joseph Fanning, all of the home; her parents, Bobby and Ellen McCaig, of 
Lawton; a sister, Deloris Smith of Lawton; a mother-in-law, Lois Fanning 
of Geronimo; and a grandfather, Roy Lowrey of Lawton.

Her father-in-law, Billy Fanning, and her grandmother, Georgia Ellen 
Lowrey, preceded her in death.
