All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 17 January 2005 BETTY MARGARET FRENCH APACHE - Services for Betty Margaret French, 62, of Chickasha, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, at the Apache Reform Church in Apache withthe Rev. Amon Harjo officiating. A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, at the Apache Reform Church. Mrs. French was born Jan. 26, 1941 in Lawton to Jim and May (Komardley) Killsfirst and was called home by the Lord Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005 in Norman. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, George and Carter Komardley, and four sisters, Deana, Velma, Rita May, and Charlene. Mrs. French was a graduate of the Anadarko High School, she also was a graduate of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha in business administration and received the BA degree from Haskell University in Lawrence, Kan. She was united in marriage to William K. French in October 1968 at Wichita Falls, Texas. She was Kiowa/Apache Princess in 1961. Mrs. French was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a member of the Indian Baptist Church in Fort Cobb. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband of the home; six daughters, Jennifer Komardley, Margie Luoma, and Mary Ann French, all of Oklahoma City, Jeanne Mosley and Karry French, both of Chickasha, and Georgia Gail French, of the home; four sons, Kerry Don French and William K. French, both of Norman, Jeremy French of Chickasha, and Richard French, of the home; onr sister, Darlene Hutton of Geronimo; three brothers, Delbert Komardley, of Norman, Phillip Killsfirst, Sr., of Apache, and Paul Killsfirst, of Anadarko; 13 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
