Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in East Side Baptist Church in Marlow with the Rev. Ed Coast officiating. Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow. Mr. Gibson was born Nov. 15, 1939, in Lawton, to Robert Lee and Bertha Ada Anderson Gibson. He married Neva Sue Ball on Jan. 17, 1960, in Wichita Falls. She preceded him in death in 1975. He married Deanna Black in 1984, in Duncan, and she preceded him in death in 1999. Mr. Gibson lived in the Marlow area all of his life. He was employed with Diamond Home Transport Company as a Truck Driver for eight years. He loved fishing, dancing and sports. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Marlow. Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Anderson and her husband, Bob, and Patty Gibson and Ben Burhenn, all of Marlow; a step daughter, Debbie Young of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren, Lindsey Adkins, Craig Gibson, Ashlee Anderson, Chance Anderson, Derek Young, Shawn Young, Megan Young and Jessie Martin; a great-grandchild, Josiah Martin; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Percy Gibson of Blanchard and Little Dent and Karen Gibson of Marlow; a sister, Linda Wilmoth of Marlow; a sister-in- law, Reba Gibson of Bethany; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Gibson. Bearers will be Jim Underwood, Eddie Lancaster, David Lancaster, Donny Burson, Little Dent Gibson II and Greg Gibson.
