All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Schooler FH--Amarillo TX Lawton Constitution 10 Jun 2003 James Edward Gallaway AMARILLO, Texas - Funeral for former Lawton area resident James Edward Gallaway, 67, Amarillo, Texas, will be at 10 a.m. today at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, Amarillo, Texas, with the Rev. David Driskill of Grand Avenue Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Gallaway died Saturday, June 7, 2003 in Amarillo. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Memory Gardens, Pampa, Texas. He was born April 14, 1936, in Erick. He married Billie Short on March 31, 1972, in Amarillo. He was a painter and contractor in the Amarillo area for many years, and a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, of the home; four daughters: Sylvia Schultz, Lawton; Renee Benson, Mustang; Rachel Gallaway, Pampa; and Rebecca Gallaway, of the home; three sons: David Gallaway, Amarillo; John Gallaway, Coweta; and James Carey Gallaway, Miami; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; C.O. and Leona Gallaway; three sons: James David, Ditrick Carey and William Lawrence Gallaway; and three brothers: L.B., Norman and Robert Gallaway.
