Pauline Golden

PAMPA - Pauline Golden, 89, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Memory Gardens Cemetery 
with the Rev. Fines Marchman, pastor of First Baptist Church of 
Skellytown, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral 
Directors.

Mrs. Golden was born Dec. 4, 1914, in Faxon, Okla. She married Alvie Tom 
"Red" Golden on May 3, 1929, at Olton, Okla. She had been a resident of 
Pampa since 1948. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a 
homemaker and a gardener.

She was preceded in death by her husband on April 9, 1982.

Survivors include a daughter, Marie Griggs of Amarillo; a brother, John 
Bolton Howell of Anchorage, Alaska; a grandson, Jay Griggs and wife, 
Christy, of Amarillo; and four great-grandchildren, Josh, Anna, Stephanie 
and Alli.

The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, 
TX 79176.
