Hobbs, 49 year old Oklahoma Pioneer, died at 8:10 o'clock Tuesday evening at her Lawton home, 2306 A. Avenue after an illness of five Weeks. Mrs. Hobbs came to the Indian Territory when only two years old, with her parents. She moved to Lawton from Tulsa, in 1931. She is survived by her husband, H.E. Hobbs, four daughters, Mrs. Vernie Lacey, Overton, Texas, Mrs. Tressa Kenningham, Mrs. Idella Catham, and Leona Hobbs, all of Lawton. Three brothers Elmer Coppenberger, Lawton; Henry Coppenberger, Davis; and Martin Coppenberger, of Elmore City; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Musgrove and Mrs. Mary Evans, both of Wynnewood. Mrs. Hobbs was a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Lawton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Walker Coontz, Pastor of the First Methodist Church in charge.
