All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Paradise Valley Cemetery--Paradise Valley OK Lawton Constitution 10 Nov 2003 Genevieve Hewes PARADISE VALLEY - Graveside service for Genevieve Laverne 'Nane' Hewes, 71, Paradise Valley, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Paradise Valley Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Lutz, pastor, Pool Arena Cowboy Church, officiating. Mrs. Hewes died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, in an Oklahoma City hospital. Arrangements are under direction of Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher. She was born May 17, 1932, at Mangum to Clarence Hilliary and Gervasia Clark Hilliary. She attended school in Carnegie and lived in the Carnegie and Paradise Valley area most of her life. She married Roy Rodrick on June 9, 1949, in Vernon, Texas, and later was married to Radford Hewes on Feb. 6, 1981, in Carnegie. She was a homemaker and sold Stanley products for many years. Survivors include two sons: Leon Rodrick and his wife, Janis; and Roy Rodrick and his wife, Shari; a stepson, Radford Hewes and his wife, Mona; a sister, Gervasia Leatherbury, all of the Paradise Valley area; five granddaughters: Rachel Hunt and her husband, Stacy, Granger, Texas; Kristie Bolan and her husband, Steven, Paradise Valley; Lynn Rodrick, Eugene, Ore.; Jenna Rodrick, Lawton; and Chelsie Rodrick, Paradise Valley; four grandsons: Joe Rodrick and his wife, Jennifer, Geronimo; Brent and Bryan Hewes and Justin Rodrick, all of Paradise Valley; and four great- grandchildren: Jordan, Blair and Payton Hunt, Granger, Texas; and Gavin Bolan, Paradise Valley.
