All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 2 Dec 2002 Funeral for Douglas "Doug" Clifford Hall, 72, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Antwine, Gray Funeral Services, officiating. Mr. Hall died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at his home. Burial will be at Flower Mound Cemetery. He was born Jan. 27, 1930, in Meers to John and Mary Meeks Hall. He grew up in the Meers area. He married Fern Scheller of Frederick on June 28, 1952, in Lawton. He was a truck driver, an electrician and a certified welder. He was a member of the Lawton Saddle Club and National Horseman\rquote s Association. In his early years, he wrote songs and played on KSWO Radio with the Hall family band, the Oklahoma Stompers. He continued to write and play music throughout his lifetime. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Clifford and Jackie Hall, Oklahoma City; two daughters and sons-in-law: Karen and Monte Blanton, Cache; and Linda and Alan Martindale, Niles, Mich.; 10 grandchildren and their spouses: Christie and Robert McNally, Carrollton, Texas; Carrie and David Kopsky, Lawton; Candice and Kenny Colvin and Bethany Scruggs, all of Cache; Jennifer Booher and Alan Martindale III, both of Niles; Amber Parson and Brandi Parson, both of Oklahoma City; and Beau Blanton and Katie Blanton, both of Cache; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Thomas and Wilma Hall and Frank Hall, all of Lawton; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Roma Carroll, Sanger, Calif.; Cleo and Glenn Wheeler, Lawton; and Barbara and Bobby Mannen, Wichita Falls, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Melvin Hall; two sisters: Nora Tugmon-Rohenkohl; and Mable Powell. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lawton Area, P.O.
