All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 4 Dec 2003 Edna Masters Hill Memorial service for Edna Masters Hill, 92, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church with state Rep. Abe Deutschendorf officiating. Mrs. Hill died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003 at her home. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, under direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born Dec. 19, 1910, in Pittsburg, Texas, to Porter Riley and Bamah Randle Masters. She married Aubrey Hill on Nov. 27, 1930, in Marietta. He died in 1941. She was a former resident of Marietta, coming to Lawton in 1962. She was a nurse for 50 years and taught at both LPN school and Cameron School of Nursing. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Lawton Women’s Forum and the Daughters of the American Revolution and a longtime member of the Salvation Army Auxiliary. Survivors include a daughter, Dorcas Hill Lidecker, of the home; two grandchildren: Bamah Beckman and her husband John, Lawton; and Van Lidecker and his wife, Michaela, Plano, Texas; nine great-grandchildren: Tabitha Beckman and Aubree Beckman, both of Lawton; Vanessa Lidecker, Nicole Lidecker and Caitlyn Lidecker, all of Oregon; and Nicholas, Ashley, Zachary and Matthew, all of Plano. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lawton Area, Inc., P.O.
