Holcomb Funeral for Bobby L. Holcomb, 73, Lawton, is pending with Becker Funeral Home. Mr. Holcomb died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at his home. ========= Lawton Constitution 4 Dec 2003 Bobby Holcomb Graveside service with military honors for Bobby L. Holcomb, 73, Lawton, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, with Tom Alley, pastor, Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Holcomb died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at his home. Arrangements are by Becker Funeral Home. He was born Sept. 18, 1930, in Mangum to Joseph A. and Rosa L. Burney Holcomb. He enlisted in the military Feb. 15, 1952, and was honorably discharged Nov. 7, 1953. He then served in the Reserves for another eight years and then at Fort Sill for eight years before retiring. He also was a professional salesman for most of his life. Survivors include five sons: Mike, Ricky, Ronnie, Joe and David Holcomb; four daughters: Sherry Maladondo, Bobbie L. Ledesma, Dawn Holster and Donna Madden; a special friend, Eugenia Phelps; and many grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lawton Area, Inc., PO Box 2074, Lawton, 73502.
