Bette J. Hanes

Bette J. Hanes, 74, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 1998.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Trinity Lutheran Church with Mark 
Cattau officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by 
SchoolerGordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St.

Mrs. Hanes was born in Comanche County, Okla. She was a homemaker and a 
member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She married Charles T. Hanes in 1945 in Amarillo. He died in February.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth J. Benton of Amarillo; a nephew, 
Ron Streich of Amarillo; a niece, Rebecca Burt of Amarillo; and three 
grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.
