All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Fort Sill National Cemetery--Elgin OK Lawton Constitution 6 May 2002 Donna Herber ELGIN — Graveside service for Donna Herber, 69, Elgin, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fort Sill National Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Jones, pastor, Cameron Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Herber died Wednesday, May 1, 2002. Burial will be under direction of Robbins Funeral Home, Fletcher. She was born April 4, 1933, in Indianapolis, to Donn and Elma D. Moore Ubelhouser. She moved to Piqua, Ohio, where she graduated from high school. She graduated from an Indianapolis nursing school in 1945. She married Leonard Herber on Oct. 4, 1952, in Indianapolis. They moved to Lawton in 1965, where she worked for Comanche County Memorial Hospital. She retired in 1990 after 25 years. Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Patty Herber, Lawton; and Chris and Carmen Herber, Edmond; four daughters and sons-in-law: Madonna and Tony Magers, Arlington, Texas; Kathleen and David Weske, Marlow; Allyson and Ryan Burgess, Woodstock, Ill.; and Lisa and Wade Dobbs, San Antonio; and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Leonard Herber; and a brother, Keith Ubelhouser.
