All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Pecan Cemetery--Lawton OK Lawton Constitution 3 Sep 2002 Billy Joe Harrison INDIAHOMA - Funeral for Billy Joe Harrison, 72, Indiahoma, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with John Webb, pastor, Cache Christian Church, officiating. Mr. Harrison died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at his home. Burial will be at Pecan Cemetery. He was born Dec. 12, 1929, in Lawton to Obie and Thelma Farrar Harrison. He married Ruth Lurlene Adams on March 12, 1949, in Lawton. He worked at Wolverton Furniture for 25 years and at Comanche Appliance Service and Harrison Appliance Service for 12 years. He later managed Sher-lin Apartments for 12 years until his retirement. He was a member of Cache Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Bobby and Nancy Harrison, Indiahoma; and Clifford Pollard, of the home; two daughters and a son-in-law: Linda and Johnny Belcher, Indiahoma; and Marilyn Elam, Lawton; a brother, Jackie Harrison, Lawton; four sisters: Geraldine Jasper, Verlene McClain and Treva Barnett, all of Lawton; and Peggy Przyszczypowski, Springdale, Ark.; a foster brother, Bob Langford, Hailyvillia; an aunt, Cassie Bevis, Sacramento, Calif.; a special friend, Joann Eidson; 10 grandchildren: B.J. Harrison, Rhonda Harrison, Ruth Pollard, Amber Belcher, Susan Belcher, Heather Belcher, Billy Belcher, Jennifer Belcher, Dana Jones and Wayne Roach; and nine great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Mary Pollard; a great-granddaughter, Candice Garcia; and his mother-in-law, Velma Adams.
