Later she became a teacher in the Public School. Later on she moved to Jacksonville, Florida, there she united with the Friendly Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. B.H. Hartly. About four years ago she moved to Lawton where she could be close to her immediate family. Keeping in with the Baptist Covenant, she united with the St John Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J.L. Davenport and with the missionary society. Saturday morning she went home to rest. She leaves to mourn her demise two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Rouse Lawton, Oklahoma and Mrs. Irene Carter Green Jacksonville Florida; one son, Robert Allen Jr. Ocala, Florida; one sister, Valena Allen Ocilla, Georgia; two aunts, Mrs. Georgia Townsend Daytona Beach, Florida, and Mrs. Margaret Mike Ocilla, Georgia; three uncles, Esiph Allen Ocilla, Georgia, Jeff Allen Lake Gigred, Florida, and Clinton Tucker Miami, Florida; two son-in-laws, Ret.
