All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Ft Sill Post Cemetery--Ft Sill OK Lawton Constitution 22 Jun 2003 Paul Hurt Funeral for Paul Hurt, 73, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Whinery-Huddleston Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Smith officiating. Mr. Hurt died Friday, June 20, 2003, in Lawton. Inturnment with military honors will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fort Sill Post Cemetery. He was born March 6, 1930, in Sapulpa to Walter Arnold and May Wadley Hurt. He married Viola Welch on April 12, 1952, in Raton, N.M. He served in the Army for 25 years and retired as a sergeant first class in 1972. He was employed by Wilson Wholesale of Lawton for 16 years and was a member of Western Hills Christian Church. Survivors include two sons: John Walter Hurt, of the home; and Paul A. Hurt, Norman; four daughters: Gloria Moczarnik and husband Al, Chicago, Ill., Mary Ann Powell and husband Chuck, Tacoma, Wash.; Teena Zachary and husband Joseph, Lafayette, Ind., and Sheryl Dean, Lawton; a sister, Pauleen Lee, Siloam Springs, Ark.; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Friends may visit from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
