Hart Graveside service for Wanda L. Hart, 80, Lawton, is pending with Becker Funeral Home. Mrs. Hart died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at a local hospital. ========= Lawton Constitution August 21, 2003 Wanda L. Hart Graveside service for Wanda L. Hart, 80, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, with Maj. Brent Nelson, Fort Sill, officiating. Mrs. Hart died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at a local hospital. Arrangements are by Becker Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 24, 1922 in Stonefort, Ill., to George and Peggy Hancock Wilkins. She graduated from Carrier's Mills High School in Illinois in 1942. She married retired Maj. John L. Hart in Jackson, Mo., on March 14, 1943. She was a Baptist and a member of the Retired Educators Association. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Suzanne Hart, Atlanta; a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Ann and Phillip Curtis, Annandale, Va.; four grandchildren: Kirk Hart and his wife, Tiffany, Bellevue, Neb.; Stephanie Hart, Olathe, Kan.; Travis Curtis, Boulder, Colo.; and Sidney Curtis, Annandale; two great-grandchildren: Frannie and Hanah Hart; and four brothers: Carl, Ralph, Wendell and Mark Wilkins. She was preceded in death by two brothers: James and Douglas Wilkins; and a grandchild, John Robert Hart. Memorial contributions may be made to any Multiple Sclerosis foundation.
