Mr. Herron died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at a local hospital. ========= Lawton Constitutuion 8 Sep 2004 Clarence I. Herron Jr. Funeral for Clarence I. Herron Jr., 69, Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Howard-Harris Funeral Services Chapel, 1105 SW C, with D.D. McHenry, New Jeruslem Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Herron died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004 in Lwton. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. He was born Sept. 24, 1934, in Anadarko, to Clarence Herron Sr. and Bessie Herron. He attended school in Anadarko and graduated from Douglass High School in Lawton. He was employed for 30 years at Fort Sill and attended Bethel Church of God in Christ. He never married or had children. Survivors include three sisters: Carrie Jackson, Lawton; Florence Corbert, Jacksonville, N.C.; and Gantice Jones, Relary, N.C.; 13 nieces; five nephews; many other relatives; and a favorite cousin, Mary Evans.
