Kennewick, Wash. Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Billy D. Herrin, 82, of Kennewick, WA, passed away July 16, 2007. Bill was born in Fletcher, OK, on August 9, 1924. He proudly served his country from 1943 until 1946 with the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. On April 5, 1945, he married Wilma Woolley of Sterling, OK. They went on to have two children, Terry Lynn and Debra Dawn. Bill became a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union 202 in El Centro, CA, 1946. After much travel following construction, he and his family found a home in Kennewick where they lived for 50 years. Bill and Wilma enjoyed 63 years of marriage which included 18 wonderful years of retirement. He loved his fishing, hunting and camping with family and friends. He will be forever missed by all who loved and knew him; may he rest in peace. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Wilma Herrin; daughter Debra (Jerry) Schneider; granddaughters Wendy (Steve) McAdie, Samantha (Dave) Rosenthal, Christy Herrin and Elizabeth (John) Greene; great- grandchildren Shelby, Stevie, Charlie, Joey, Danny, Kody, Kolby, Dalton and Sarah; as well as brother Roy (Donna) Herrin and other extended family members. The family would like to extend a heartfelt 'Thank You' to the caring staff at 'From the Heart' Adult Family Home in Pasco, WA, as well as to Dr. Tuazon and also Dr. Washington. A Graveside Service will held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 10th & Union, Kennewick, 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2007, with a reception at the family home to follow.
