All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Bakersfield Californian Etta Mae Isbell Services: Tues., Nov. 12, 10 a.m. Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., for Etta Mae Isbell, 80, who passed away November 7, 2002. Pastor Tom Cooley will officiate. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Isbell was born on November 13, 1921, in Lawton, Oklahoma and resided in Kern County for 63 years. She last worked for the Rancho Bakersfield Motel in housekeeping for 20 years. Etta was a loving mother to her children and caring for her grandchildren. They will always cherish her memory in their hearts. Etta was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest in 1958, sisters, Gladys and Helen, and brothers, Arles, Vester and Arthur. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Robert Childress and Sue and John Heitzenroder all of Bakersfield; eight grand-children; 21 great- grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Welch of Bakersfield and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends. Casketbearers will be her great-grandsons, Robert Childress, Blake Hallum, William Cleveland, Wayne Claudino, James Childress and Timmy Claudino.
