All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 18 Apr 2003 Clifton Daniel Ikner CACHE -- Funeral for Clifton Daniel Ikner, 80, Cache, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with James Daniel Ikner, pastor, Church of the Nazarene, Willington, Texas, officiating. Mr. Ikner died Thursday, April 17, 2003, at his home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. He was born Nov. 11, 1922, in Uriah, Ala., to John Samuel and Annie Everett Ikner. He married Cleo Clark on Sept. 30, 1942, in Walters. He enlisted in the Army on June 7, 1941, in McClellan, Ala., and served during World War II. His medals include The Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Ribbon and The Philippines Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Star. He was honorably discharged from the Army on Oct. 5, 1945, in Fort Leavenworth, Kan. He worked as a cook and a chef for many years. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, James Daniel Ikner, Willington, Texas; and a daughter, Judy Ann Scott, Prague; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
