All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Sunset Memorial Gardens--Lawton OK Becker Funeral Home Obit SFC (Retired) Odell Roy Inglis Age 89, Lawton - Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Joe Cunningham, officiating. Sgt. Inglis died Sunday in a local care center. Inurnment with military honors will be under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. He was born February 6, 1916 in Fort Worth, Texas to Arthur and Ethel Gowin Inglis. He married Laverne Ida Harris on December 6, 1941 in El Paso, Texas. She died July 7, 1992. He married Naomi Joyce Cheatham on February 5, 1999 in Lawton. Sgt. Inglis retired from the U.S. Army on December 31, 1960, where he served in the CID. He was a member of Mount Scott Masonic Lodge #540 and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. Survivors include his wife, of the home, 4 Grandchildren: Tammy Brown, San Diego, California, Barry Brown, Frederick, Oklahoma Kimberly Brown White, Walters, and Galvin Brown, Washington, D.C., 4 Step Children: Marion Searcy, Noble, Danny Searcy, Ardmore, LaDonna Kimbro and Tommy Searcy, both of Marlow, 5 great grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren, one brother, and one sister.
