All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.html ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 30 Aug 2005 Evelyn Chloe Wood Justus Funeral for Evelyn Chloe Wood Justus, 86, Lawton, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Cliff Gravitt, pastor, Northside Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Justus died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at a local hospital. Burial will be at Schofield Cemetery, south of Indiahoma. She was born June 4, 1919, in New Mexico to Henry Horton Wood Sr. and Allie Frances Vandevender. She married Robert Justus in Oklahoma in 1937. She worked in the bomber factory in Frederick during World War II, until it closed. She then worked for civil service at Fort Sill, retiring after 38 years. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church and the Business and Professional Women's Club. Survivors include a sister, Edna Myrl Wood Corbin, Cleveland, Ga.; two nieces: Linda Corbin, Oro Valley, Ariz.; and Sue Corbin, Cleveland, Ga.; a nephew, Douglas Corbin and his wife, Shirley, Gainesville, Ga.; a great- niece, Brittany Corbin Brady, Canton, Ga.; and many other cousins, including Colleen and Joe Fischer Jr., Chattanooga.
