All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Sunset Memorial Gardens--Lawton OK Lawton Constitution 05 Jun 2003 Jim Jackson Funeral for James Edmond Jackson, 58, Faxon, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Western Hills Christian Church with the Rev. Tommy Smith, pastor, and the Rev. Dick Williams, Ozark Christian College, Joplin, Mo., officiating. Mr. Jackson died Monday, June 2, 2003, in New Orleans, La. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. He was born Dec. 8, 1944, in Pryor, to Norman Delmar and Ida Belle Hunter Jackson. He graduated from Adair High School in 1963. He married Penny Sue Gaunt on March 25, 1967, in Adair. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in insurance and finance from the University of Oklahoma in 1968. He retired after more than 31 years as a claims specialist with State Farm Insurance. He was a member of Western Hills Christian Church. Survivors include his wife of the home; his mother, Adair; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark Edmond and Kimberly Faye Jackson, Burkburnett, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Jina Li Jackson Galliford and Grant William Galliford, Dallas; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Dwayne Rowe and Carolyn Darlene Jackson, Bixby, Texas; and David Norman Jackson, Adair; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association P.O. Box 11376, Oklahoma City 73136.
