Johnson, 90, Odessa, Fla., will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sterling United Methodist Church. Mrs.Johnson died Friday, July 1, 2005, in Florida. Burial will be at Sterling Cemetery under direction of Hodge Funeral Home of Fletcher and Elgin. She was born Dec. 13, 1914. She married Morris E. Johnson on Oct. 31, 1931. He died May 11, 2005. She worked for the U.S. government in personnel. After retiring, she and her husband returned to Sterling, where they had a small cattle ranch on the former homestead of her family. During this time, she took lessons in painting. She contributed to the murals of the bicentennial in Sterling. She and her husband moved to Tampa, Fla., to be closer to their son and his family. Survivors include a son, Glenn M. Johnson and his wife, Dale; three grandchildren: Glenda Jensen, James A Johnson and Shelly A. Fonseca and her husband, Hernan; three great-grandchildren: Rebecca A. Jensen, Ashley M. Jensen and Maximiliano A. Fonseca; a brother, Arthur Hollis, Oklahoma City; and two sisters: Edna Shirley, Enid; and Ida Goetting, Alaska. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Gene Harlow; her parents; and several siblings. Memorial contributions may be made to the University of South Florida Foundation, Attn: Memory Disorder Clinic, 3515 E.
