Johnson Funeral for Frances M. Johnson, 80, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. today at Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lloyd Grubbs, pastor, Trinity Assembly of God, officiating. Mrs. Johnson died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, in Lawton. Burial will be at Cache Cemetery. She was born Feb. 8, 1925, in Sparks, to William E. and Cora Pearl Kennedy. She grew up in the Cache and Indiahoma areas, attending area schools. She married Jack E. Johnson, who later died. She worked for a number of years for Meador's Department Store before moving to Bridgeport, Texas, where she lived for more than 35 years. She returned to Lawton in the late 1990s. She attended Trinity Assembly of God. Survivors include two brothers: Edgar Kennedy, Grapevine, Texas; and Bill Kennedy, Geronimo; a sister, Dora Hendricks, San Diego; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Charley Kennedy, Ben Kennedy, Oscar Kennedy and Paul Kennedy Sr.; and two sisters: Mary Duke and Ruth Winham.
