Larry Rhame Johnson

Larry Rhame Johnson, 52, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Friendship Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Ronnie Tucker, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park 
Cemetery by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.

Mr. Johnson was born in Fort Worth and moved to Amarillo in 1958 from 
Hobbs, N.M. He graduated from Amarillo High School, where he was active in 
sports, and Amarillo College, then attended college at Cameron College in 
Lawton, Okla. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. Johnson was employed by R.L. Polk & Co. for several years before being 
employed by Marcoa. He also worked for Value Line, KIXZ and NTS. He was a 
board member and served as president for Moss Lane Club and was a member 
of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Holli Rein and Tracy Carol, both of 
Dallas; his mother, Billie D. Johnson of Amarillo; and two grandchildren.

The family suggest, in lieu of flowers, memorials be to Friendship Baptist 
Church or Moss Lane Club.
