Kelley CHATTANOOGA -- Funeral for Helen I. Kelley, 86, Chattanooga, is pending with Becker Funeral Home. Mrs. Kelley died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at a Lawton nursing center. =========== Lawton Consitituion 9 Oct 2004 Helen I. Kelley CHATTANOOGA Graveside service for Helen I. Kelley, 86, Chattanooga, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Chattanooga Cemetery with the Rev. Vivian Garza, pastor, Antioch Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Kelley died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at a Lawton care center. Arrangements are by Becker Funeral Home. She was born June 17, 1918, in Loveland, to Walter C. and Carrie Young Brown. She graduated from Chattanooga High School in 1936. She married C.W. Kelley on Nov. 6, 1936, in Chattanooga. He died April 12, 1956. She was employed at First National Bank in Chattanooga for 35 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga and taught Sunday school for many years. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Deana Edmonds and Joe Butler, Chattanooga; a grandson, Kelley Morrison and his wife, Kathy, Chattanooga; a granddaughter, Kim Fortney her husband, Michael, Chattanooga; seven great-grandchildren: Staff Sgt. Nick Morrison and his wife, Ronda, Spangdahlem Air Force Base, Germany; Tony Morrison, Dusty Borden, Tiffany Borden, Melissa Shaw Morrison and Matthew Shaw Morrison, all of Chattanooga; and Kris Borden and his wife, Cassie, Lawton; a great- great-granddaughter, Emily Borden; two sisters: Maurean Patton, Chattanooga; and Pauline McMillian, Wichita Falls, Texas; and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers-in-law: Lloyd Patton and John McMillian.
