Arrangements were made under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. Born April 19, 1943, to Berry and Ida Mae (Horn) Hopkins, in Birmingham, Ala., she worked as a nurses aide, and a security guard. She married Donald L. King and they owned and operated Aarons Appliances until he died on Dec. 9, 1978.
