Krasser CHATTANOOGA - Funeral for Fred L. Krasser, 58, Chattanooga, will be at 2 p.m. today at Chattanooga School Auditorium with Larry Shelley and Don Armes officiating. Mr. Krasser died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at a Lawton hospital. Burial will be at Chattanooga Cemetery under direction of Jackson Funeral Home, Frederick. He was born Jan. 15, 1945, in Frederick to George Charles and Martha Fisher Krasser. He attended Chattanooga Public School and graduated in 1963. He graduated from Cameron Junior College in 1965. He received a bachelor's degree in vocational agriculture education from Oklahoma State University in 1967. He married Carla J. Kinder on Aug. 13, 1965, in Frederick. He taught vocational agriculture in Pilot Grove, Mo., before moving to Helena-Goltry and Grandfield. He then moved to Chattanooga, where he taught for 17 years. After his retirement in 1996, he continued his farming and ranching operation. He served as president of the Oklahoma Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association in 1992-1993 and received the Distinguished Professional State Association Award and the Teacher of Teachers Bronze Award. He received the Conservation Education Award from the Soil and Water Conservation Society in 1993 and the Honorary American FFA Degree in November 1994. He also received the Distinguished Service Award from the Tillman County Junior Livestock Show in 2003. He was a board member of the Lawton-Grandfield-Chattanooga Co-op and a member of Chattanooga Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law: Robin and Brad Harlow, Rogers, Ark.; and Amy and Jeff Boddicker, Newhall, Iowa; a son and daughter-in-law, Levi and Danessa Krasser, Chattanooga; his mother, Chattanooga; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Troy and Connie Krasser, Ardmore; and Jerry and Polly Krasser, Faxon; a grandson, Kinder James Harlow, Rogers, Ark.; his mother-in-law, Elene Kinder, Frederick; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janice and John Worthington, Frederick; and six nieces and nephews: Lori Johnson, Kyle Worthington, Traci Kramer, Travis Krasser, Cullen Worthington and Lindsey Krasser. He was preceded in death by his father; his twin sisters: Doris and Darlene Krasser; his father-in-law, Lester Kinder; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Krasser; and a nephew, T.J. Krasser.
