All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Sunset Memorial Gardens--Lawton OK Lawton Constitution 6 May 2002 Estella Love Funeral for Estella Love, 81, Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel Church of God In Christ with H. H. Edison, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Love died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, in Lawton after a brief illness. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Miller’s Mortuary. She was born Dec. 30, 1920, in Froman, Ark., to Mr. and Mrs. George Scroggins. She graduated from Slater-Rosenwall High School, Hugo, and attended Langston University. She lived in Shamrock, Texas, and later moved to Lawton. She married Lutery "Big Man" Love in 1946. He died in 1988. She was a member of Bethel Church of God in Christ where she served as secretary for more than 40 years. Survivors include: two daughters, Lutery "Donna Kay" Johnson, Lawton; and Estella M. "Pete" Jackson, Dallas; five grandchildren: Anthony R. Jackson, Oregon; Brandon Love, Wichita Falls, Texas; Estella Wingfield, Georgia; Andrea Jackson, Texas; and Tra’Vus Johnson, Lawton; several great- grandchildren; two special children: Birdie Brown-Ross and Michael E. Johnson, both of Oklahoma City; a nephew, Joe Tafee, Del City; and a niece, Otis Jean Lynch, Clarksville, Texas.
