Bud Jones, pastor, First Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiatig and the Rev. Sarah Bodenstein, pastor, First United Methodist Church, assisting. Mr. Looper died Thursday, June 28,2001, in Duncan. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery under direction of Crews Funeral Home. He was born Dec. 24,1924, in Pottawatomie County. He married Inge Haymann in Frankfurt, Germany, Oct 25, 1946. He served in the Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired in August of 1963. He moved to Apache in 1957 and later worked as a truck driver for Bray Lines until 1984. He also farmed and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law: Elizabeth and Rance Bivins, Franklin, Texas; and Violet and Steve Myers, Apache; a son and daughter-on-lae Ralph and Cinde Looper, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren: Sandy Burke and Stephen V. Myers, both of Apache; and Michael S. Looper, Apdril Burrows and Chdristy R. Looper, all of Oklahoma City; four great-grandchildren; TiffanyReed, Cody Burke, Stephen Myers and Eva Maree Myers, all of Apache; two brothers; Vernon Looper, Watsonville, Calif; and Clarence D. Looper, Stayton, Ore.';and two sisters: Valerie Runyon, Stayton; and Velora Wrightman, Marina, Calif.
