Lamb, 92, Elgin, were held Monday, January 24, 2005 in the First Baptist Church, Elgin, with Rev. Kenneth E. Hayes and Rev. Larry Thoma, officiating. Mrs. Lamb died Thursday, January 20, 2005 in Lawton. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher (formerly Robbins Funeral Home). Mrs. Lamb was born October 1, 1912 in Reydon, Oklahoma, to Robert L. and Lula Loftin. She grew up and graduated high school in Carnegie. She married Cecil Henry Lamb on July 21, 1934 in Port, Oklahoma. He died March 29, 1976. She was primarily a homemaker but had also worked as a census taker, substitute teacher and a bookkeeper at Carpenter Bus Sales in Elgin. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elgin where she had taught Sunday school and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union. Survivors include two sons, Dwight Lamb and Kendall Lamb and wife, Donna, all of Lawton; a daughter, Patty Carr, Lawton; eleven grandchildren, LeeAnna Lamb, Johanna Speed, Andrea Littlefield, Christopher Lamb, Clayton Lamb, Nathan Lamb, Laurel Lamb, Dorinda Williams, Gala Treeby, Kyle Carr and Rhonda Hamlin; 16 great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to Red River Hospice, 1206 N.
