"Jack" Long TEMPLE — Graveside service for Leslie E. "Jack" Long, 92, Temple, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Temple Cemetery with Don Crow officiating. Mr. Long died Monday, May 5, 2003, in Walters. Arrangements are by Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters. He was born Oct. 8, 1910, at Trenton, Texas, to Tony Lee and Nora Gertrude Nolann Long. He came to Grandfield from Mead when he was 12. He lived in the Cache, Faxon and Chattanooga before moving to Temple in the late 1950s. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He was a member of Temple First Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include four sisters: Thelma Mae Mooney, Moore; and Ruby Odie, Opal D.
