All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Fort Sill National Cemetery--Elgin OK Becker Funeral Home Obit MSG (Retired) Royce Linch Age 72, Lawton will be at 10:30 am Tuesday in the New Post Chapel, Fort Sill, with Chaplain (MAJ) David Vanderjagt, Fort Sill, officiating. MSG Linch died Saturday in a Lawton hospital. Burial with full military honors will be in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. He was born April 14, 1932 in Iredell, Texas to Marion and Mae (Blue) Linch. He graduated from the Federal Aviation School in Oklahoma City, and was an instructor for NCO’s at Fort Sill, and also the Air Traffic Control School at Fort Rucker, Alabama. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1974. He was also retired from Civil Service. He married Beulah Brady on July 3, 1954 in Anchorage, Alaska. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors Include: Wife Beulah of the home. 3 Children: William Royce Linch and his wife Laurel of Cushing, OK, Ron Linch of Corpus Christi, TX and Susan Tally and her husband Jeff of Lawton, OK. 11 Grandchildren: Christopher Tally, Chera Tally Simpson, Micah Linch, Brady Linch, Courtney Linch, Anthony Hackworth, Serena Tally Smith, Jason Tally, Brandon Rouse, Courtney McGee and Nicholas King. 4 Great Grandchildren: Cullen Linch, Jay Jay Simpson, Parker Simpson and Peyton Simpson. 2 Brothers: Richard Linch of Andrews, TX and Jim Linch and his wife Shawn of Fort Worth, TX. Sister: Janell Atkins and her husband Royce of Iredell, TX. Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by: Parents, Son-James Linch, Brother- Gene Linch and a Sister.
