All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Elgin Memorial Cemetery--Elgin OK Lawton Constitution 25 Mar 2003 Peggy Jean Lambert Landry STERLING - Funeral for Peggy Jean Lambert Landry, 73, Sterling, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Robbins Funeral Home Chapel, Fletcher, with the Rev. Tom Willoughby, minister of music, First Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Landry died Sunday, March 23, 2003, in Cedar Hill, Texas. Burial will be at Elgin Cemetery. She was born Feb. 26, 1925, in Sterling, to Jake and Lizzie Guest Lambert. She grew up and attended school in the Sterling area where she graduated in 1943. She married Weldon A. Lee in 1945. He died in 1953. She moved to the Fletcher area and later worked at Fort Sill in food service for the hospital. She also worked at Tomlinson Nursing Home for 10 years. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Gardner, Cedar Hill, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Denzille and Kathleen Lambert, Fletcher; a sister, Lorene Vaughn, Oakland Neb.; six grandchildren and their spouses: Peggy and Gerald Baxley, James and Misty Gardner, Chad and Shannon Breeden, Amie and William Johnston, Cindy and Robert, Jackie and David Schrodel and Kim and Chris Peek; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Audie, Orville and Jim Lambert; a sister, Margie; and a daughter, Deborah Odell.
