LEONARD Preston L. (Shorty) Leonard, 60, of 1407 I, died at 3:10 p.m. Sunday at his home after an extended illness. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Lawton Funeral home chapel. Maj. Luther Smith, Salvation Army Commander, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland cemetery. Born Dec. 12, 1891, in Lehigh, Okla., Mr. Leonard came to Lawton in 1901 from Duncan. He married Loes Depew Sept, 21, 1937, in Hanson, Tex. He is survived by his wife of the home; one son, Wiley B. Leonard, McQuire AFB, Trenton, N.J.; two brothers, P.G.
