All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Sunset Memorial Gardens--Lawton OK Becker Funeral Home Obit 12 Sep 2005 Billie Jean Larrance Age 80, Lawton - Services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Dr. Susie Cashion, pastor officiating. Mrs. Larrance died Wednesday at her home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. Billie was born March 25, 1925 in Castle, Oklahoma to Roy and Clara Mogridge. She was raised in Okemah and moved to Oklahoma City and graduated from Classen High School in 1942. She attended Hills Business College and later worked for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol in Oklahoma City. She then moved to Lawton and attended Lawton Beauty School. She married Fred C. Larrance, Jr. on April 18, 1947 in Lawton. He died March 29, 2001. She worked as a homemaker and for Larrance Tank Corporation. She was a Deacon at the First Presbyterian Church, a member of Esther Circle Presbyterian Women, and taught Bible School. She was a member of Kathryn Harper Club and belonged to the Jaycee Janes. Survivors include three children; Jeanette J. Carter and her husband Robert, Frederick C. Larrance, IV, and Vivian Marshall and her husband Peter, all of Lawton, three sisters; Vivian Maloy, Okemah, Oklahoma, Norma Dix and her husband Roy, Mason, Oklahoma, and Kathryn Hardy and her husband Clarence, Mason, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren; Jennifer Dickson and her husband Charles, Edmond, Robert B. Carter and his wife Sharla, Lawton, Michael Marshall, Weatherford, Michelle Marshall and Lauren Staack, both of Casper, Wyoming, Frederick C. Larrance, V, Lawton, and Billie Jean McAlister and her husband Chris, Duncan, and six great grandchildren; Megan Carter, Mindy Carter, Grant Dickson, Jillian Dickson, Siarra Marshall, and Logan McAlister.
