All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Montecito Memorial Park--Loma Linda CA Lacy, Gwendolyn Gwendolyn Lacy 78, of Tucson, passed away July 17, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Gwen Lacy was born October 2, 1928 in Indiahoma (Indian territory) Oklahoma, and she was raised in Loma Linda, California, attended college at Pacific Union College. She subsequently married Merton S. Lacy and supported him through dental school at Loma Linda University, California. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary June 9, 2007. They have lived in Tucson for over 19 years. Gwen helped start the Catalina Hills Fellowship Seventh-Day Adventist church in the 1990's. Gwen is an author having published two books, and written innumerable short stories and poems, some still to be published. She belonged to poetry club and listed as an Arizona author. She is survived by: her loving husband, Merton Lacy (retired orthodontist); her siblings, Nancy and David Small; Jon and Lani Gepford; her children, Judi and Bob Hewes; Pat and Trish Lacy; Lianna and Chuck Fetters; Tom and Darlene Lacy; her grandchildren, Christy and Tom Ziesmer; Amy Hewes; Jeremy and Melanie Hewes; Alan and Ben Lacy; Alisha Hand and Justin Hand; Josh, Jordon and Emma Lacy; and her two great-grandchildren, Tommy and Becky Ziesmer. Services will be held at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Road, Tucson. Funeral services Saturday, July 21st, Viewing at 3:00 p.m.; service at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be in Loma Linda, California at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary.
