All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution May 26 & 27, 2002 William Moss Funeral for William Wayne Moss, 61, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Royce Littrell officiating. Mr. Moss died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at his home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. He was born Nov. 25, 1940, at Fort Sill to Capt. Perry and Georgia Moss. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1958 and then attended Cameron University. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1964 with a degree in political science. He attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma City University Law School in 1968 with a Juris Doctorate degree. He then returned to Lawton to practice law. He taught political science at Cameron University for a year and then continued with his law practice. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, William Scott Moss and a granddaughter, Morgan Moss, both of Fort Worth, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie L. and Janet Moss, Maryville, Mo.; and cousins in Oklahoma and Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents.
