Mrs. McGee died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, in Lawton. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. She was born Dec. 24, 1916, in Bluff to Frank and Ida Wilson Petty. She grew up in Bluff and came to Lawton in 1940. She married Frank R. McGee in 1938 in Lawton. He died March 24, 1986. She was a member of Mission Society and served as church mother and was a member of St. Elmo Baptist Church. She was self-employed as a domestic engineer until her retirement. Survivors include a son, Larry McGee, and his wife, Saundra, Tulsa; a special grandson, Errick Reed, of the home; three daughters: Thelma Ingram, Ohio; Janet McGee, of the home, Frankie Kemp and her husband, Clyde Sr., Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters: Lillie Jenkins, Grant; and Mary Jones, Oklahoma City; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends. He was preceded in death by two daughters: Mable Green and Frankie Lewis; a grandson, James Reed Jr.; and nine brothers and sisters.
