All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Little Washita Indian Cemetery--Fletcher OK Lawton Consitituion 12 May 2003 Iva Tehauno Mihecoby FLETCHER - Funeral for Iva Tehauno Mihecoby, 81, Fletcher, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Little Washita United Methodist Church with the Rev. Margaret Battiest, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Mihecoby died Saturday, May 10, 2003, at her home. Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hodge Funeral Home Chapel, Fletcher. Burial will be at Little Washita Indian Cemetery east of Fletcher under direction of Hodge Funeral Home. She was born in Indiahoma on Feb. 25, 1922, to Reuben Tehauno and Thurma Tahkofper Tehauno. She moved to Fletcher at an early age. She married Albert Allen Mihecoby. He died Aug. 31,1980. She was a member of Little Washita Methodist Church, where she served as treasurer for 55 years and was a lifetime member of United Methodist Women. Survivors include two daughters, Caroline Tinney, Fletcher; and Carol Frances Rivera, Mission Hills, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and many great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Howard and Vernon Tehauno; three stepsons; Fernal Mihecoby, Virgil Mihecoby and Joyce Mihecoby; three sisters: Dora Tehauno, Grace Tehauno Hoahwah and Marie Tehauno Tahbonemah; three brothers: Sam Tehauno, Capps Tehauno and Vernon Tehauno Sr. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Comanche County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/comanche/comanche.html
